Hello! I'm Amir Nowrouz, a Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Massage Therapist with the state of California. I opened Rose Acupuncture in Pasadena, California, where I specialize in Orthopedics, Sports Acupuncture, pain, stress, and health management.
I started my education at Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Public Health. I then sought a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences located in Oakland, California, and attended a 600-hour Massage Therapist Program at the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork.
My journey into acupuncture started with allergies and athletic stress from cross-country. My quality of life deteriorated to the point of desperation for relief of my symptoms. Consistent acupuncture treatment saved me from a life time of reactive treatments. I’m striving to help those with similar experiences and help others interested in proactive health management.
I hope to impart the knowledge I have gained from my experience to those on their own healing journey.
